LCSHS WALL OF FAME INDUCTEES UNVEILED
Join us on November 3 to celebrate the Class of 2019

BRIDGEWATER, NS – On Sunday, November 3, the third annual Lunenburg County Sport Heritage Society (LCSHS) Wall of Fame induction ceremony will be held at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre in Bridgewater.

This year’s event will pay tribute to two builders and five athletes who have excelled in their achievements, commitment, and dedication to sport, all while boasting strong ties to Lunenburg County.

“We have a very unique class to honour in 2019. Our community has done outstanding work in nominating these individuals, and the Selection Committee a wonderful job in vetting them,” said LCSHS Chairperson Carroll Randall.

“We have a range of honourees, from those who have worked tirelessly here at a local level in Lunenburg County to athletes who had success in sport at a global level,” he added.

In the Builder Category, this year’s inductees include:

Alvin (Al) Nunn (Multiple Sports Organizations)
Murray Nauss Zinck (Track & Field)

In the Athlete Category, the 2019 inductees include:

Glenn Josephson (Curling)
Jeffrey K. Mayo (Basketball)
Jason “Notorious” Naugler (Boxing)
Krista Stockman (Golf)
Dave Waters (Parasport)

Tickets for this year’s induction gala are available at the Lunenburg County Lifestyle Centre Guest Services Desk. Doors will open at 6 p.m. for a 6:30 start time.
